Climate — And Sea Levels — Have ALWAYS Been Changing [at least when viewed with a long enough temporal lens; much of the research cited on this page studied relatively short-term (i.e. only decades or a century or two) and reported little, if any measurable changes in sea levels]. This graph , compiled by Guy LeBlanc Smith, PhD, shows that all life on earth has survived both massive sea level changes and rapid and dramatic atmospheric temperature changes — far, far in excess of what has been observed over the past few decades. There were no coal fired power stations and no gas guzzling cars to cause any of these changes and the same natural forces that caused them will be the only causes — yet again — of climate and sea level changes in the future.
