Reform:
“America’s school system outcomes are far worse than the public believes or understands.
America must find a way to raise educational achievement in all areas for all students.
We will not achieve steady, broad-based economic growth without a much-improved education system.
America must reduce the dropout rate and reduce the cost of formal schooling.
Funding is not the problem and future changes must be made with the funds available.“

Cheating runs rampant
No Child Left Behind has unleashed a nationwide epidemic of cheating. Will education reformers wake up?
http://www.salon.com/2012/05/25/cheating_runs_rampant/print/
[Really? NCLB did that? ASND simply asks, “What was it in NCLB that ‘unleashed a nationwide epidemic of cheating? Was it the required accountability for teachers, to which the rest of the world’s workers are also held (well, except union workers, of course)? The rest of the world simply responds by regularly checking for cheating and then imposing consequences upon cheaters. Why can’t government schools do the same as the rest of the world (well, again, except for union jobs)?]
