The age is wrong here (at least in my case). I was still very active, very strong, and virtually pain-free through my mid-50s. Then I broke BOTH LEGS (and an arm) in a fall (requiring extensive surgical reconstruction of all affected appendages) and several months of rehab (most of which I did alone since I was already very familiar with the process after rehabbing seven knee surgeries, three of which were done in a single year following my career as a pro skier). So change the age to about 57 (which was several years ago for me) and the meme belongs here.
