Now to our weekly discussion of the rare, few things Beavis Obiden does rightly, not because he does them himself but because his handlers require him to do them. First up (of two this week), as usual, The new Axis of Evil.
This is actually both good and bad news. The bad news is obvious (the Axis is ostensibly expanding, but only ostensibly) but the good news is — because the Saudis are sworn enemies of Iran (also an Axis member) — China will now have to deal more aggressively against Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Believe it or not, that might just prevent our having to join Israel’s otherwise much needed military response to Iran’s nuclear weapons program, which absolutely will occur…
… if this new “alliance” between Saudi & Xi doesn’t prevent it. Anytime we can avoid massive military action against anyone, and not make things worse for us (and others) down the road (as we would be doing if we simply replayed Beavis’ Afghanistan nightmare in Ukraine), that is a good thing.
