All right, let’s get this done at the top: Putin vs. Ukraine (again). First, R U aware that Adolph Putin’s latest threats were not delivered against the U.S. (who, amazingly — given Beavis Obiden’s boundless incompetence and obvious senility — has begun to handle the Ukraine problem with logic and reason; see today’s Beavis Obiden edition of Memeland for some recent details on that fact)? Instead, Putin is now threatening Great Britain instead.
What’s interesting about those threats is that they came after Obiden’s announcement that the U.S., too, now has boots on the ground in Ukraine. Yet Putin threatens only the Brits. What’s up with that?
DETERRENCE!
Folks, this is exactly what I have been telling you for months here on ASND / Memeland. Putin now knows — thanks to Beavis finally pulling his head out of his butt — that the U.S. will respond in kind to nuclear weapons use in Ukraine (see my discussion of that here). That is a very good thing, and it is precisely why Putin is beginning to drop his string of threats against the U.S. and, almost certainly, contributing to why he is also showing real signs of retreat in the Donbas.
Europeans have more than enough coal and natural gas of their own (most of it in Germany, France, and northern Italy) and they used to have more than enough nuclear plants of their own to completely survive this “energy shortage” that they created by ignoring Donald Trump and believing that Adolph Putin was more human than demonic. Every one of those intellectual failures was preventable, yet Eurpeans chose to be liberal idiots instead. Putin has been laughing out load at them for years.

The lesser of two evils, therefore, is Ukraine b/c Ukraine will never threaten innocents (by the millions, as Putin has already done and will only increase doing if allowed to succeed in Ukraine) beyond her own borders. This is a no brainer, yet even some people with brains refuse to open their eyes to the facts.

I have to admit. though, that I was surprised when neither one of them thought enough of the gifts to thank me for them.
