New Feature @ ASND: Memeland

After sending memes via text messages to a few friends for a few months (they liked most of the memes but didn’t like frequent avalanches of message notifications) I have decided to utilize this pre-existing Web site for that purpose (i.e. sharing memes) instead of using text messages. When provided in the originals, I will credit the memes with their sources (most, though, appear anonymously on various pages where I find them). To those who wanted this change (but may or may not have said anything), you’re welcome. To anyone else who happens to find these new posts (in addition to the well over 500 already-existing pages on ASND’s site), you are also welcome.

I thought that was particularly ironic (actually hypocritical) as ASND’s debut meme since I am as guilty as anyone else now of “playing” more inside (usually doing stuff similar to this) than outside. Well into my 30s, though, I not only played outside *all the time* but I even worked outside — most of which time was just getting paid to play. Yes, really. And for most of the last ten years of my life, I have worked outside again. Yes, really. So yes, this meme exposes a certain personal hypocrisy but not as bad as for some.

For those who don’t know, “Net Zero” (in this context) refers to the leftist/green delusion that anthropogenic CO2 is responsible for global warming. Leftists want to achieve “net zero carbon emissions” — meaning a complete elimination of fossil fuel burning (which generates CO2, and CO [carbon monoxide], btw) — in their misguided quest for planetary salvation.
